Every musical journey is unique – some begin in the garage with friends while others start with forced music lessons.
But in President Street’s case the path was a little more unusual. Born into a musical family, Pete was robbed of discovery through the death of his parents at a very young age. Struggling to simply get his life in order, it took him a little while to stumble across music but once he did there was no turning away from it. Diving into the musical side of his personality that he never knew he had, he applied all of his ADHD-driven focus towards learning to play and then ultimately writing music.
After toiling, perfecting and collaborating the result is President Street – a pop project named after the street where the journey began.
“I’m always striving to make an emotional connection with people when they listen” says Pete. “I want the songs to reach in and grab you and bring you along for the journey”.
